It might look real but it's not...or is it?

The visual world is full of props. The technical Hollywood and accurate term for the

word is properties! This means that the item looks and / or acts like a real life item, or

has the properties that are used to convey an idea or represent a part or product

which has a function. Many times the actual item may be too costly or unavailable for

any number of reasons. For example a massive spaceship or a ten foot tall green

dragon.

JLM Industries and Technologies, has had requests from all over for unique and different

types of props. First, let me say that with todays innovative and fast paced entertainment such

as video / motion picture and gaming such as video game, military and action simulation and

reenactment industry there is an extreme demand for props that look, act and possibly function

like the real item, however the real difference is the cost and availability for the item. Many

times there are characters or extras that are in the background and their props or apparatus

are not required to function. They just need to look good and be inexpensive. That is where
